How can I contribute to Harm Reduction TO?
Harm Reduction TO is run by Canadian Students for Sensible Drug Policy (CSSDP) Ryerson volunteers with help from CSSDP UofT students, Toronto Harm Reduction Alliance, and other community members. If you would like to volunteer for one of these groups, please fill out the form below.
What activities would I be involved in?
CSSDP Ryerson & UofT:
Canadian Students for Sensible Drug Policy (CSSDP) at Ryerson and UofT are grassroots student-led groups that engage in advocacy and event organizing on campus.
Activities can include:
Hosting events such as workshops, film nights, panel discussions, and community tours
Community outreach and harm reduction supply distribution
Collaborating with local community organizations and university student groups
Raising awareness through social media, website editing, and postering
Producing research, reports, and policy proposals
Advocacy, petition-writing, and demonstrating
THRA:
Toronto Harm Reduction Alliance (THRA) is a coalition of people who use drugs, workers, students, researchers, academics and allies who believe in Harm Reduction as a philosophy. We are advocates working to reduce the harms associated with the criminalization of drug use.
Activities can include:
Attending monthly meetings: THRA meetings are a place to get information about harm reduction updates in Toronto, voice concerns, and get connected to community. They are held every 2nd Friday of the month at Parkdale Queen West CHC. Please note due to the subject matter of our meetings police are not invited to attend.

Support Local Harm Reduction Initiatives
Attend rallies and get the tools to speak up in your local community
